Our new(ish) studio

About 6 months ago we made the leap to obtain a studio space outside of our home.  With all of our shoots and weddings happening on location, we didn't have the need for a commercial space until recently.  Even now, our studio is not a shooting space, but rather a gallery, meeting space and editing studio.  With Evie at home (who turned one in March) having our team all working out of our home office was getting quite cramped and came with a lot of (albeit adorable) distractions.  These days, Michael and our production assistant work out of the studio, and I am usually found at our house, working out of the home office.  Between the two set ups we have the best of both worlds.

It's been a fun but slow process, filling in the new space.  It's tough being patient, but we are really happy with the way it is shaping up.  :)  Our meeting room is nearly complete! (Thinking about adding our logo above the two large prints above the sofa.)

Sofa, chairs and bench from Arhaus Furniture.  We kind of love that place.  Pillows from Layla Grace.  Curtains from Ballard Designs.  Gallery wraps from our lab White House Custom Color.

And here is the entry below.  This brick wall really sold us on the space and was the first area we focused on.  We still have much to do with the rest of the entry.  I'm beginning to think designing a space involves nearly as many decisions as designing a wedding!

Bookshelf and lamp from Arhaus.
