When in Rome... or New York...

I posted this "Roman Holiday" clip recently on our Facebook page, but I can't help the desire to grace this page with Audrey Hepburn's sweet face too.

We love this scene... and this film. Though it was Audrey Hepburn's first movie, costar Gregory Peck insisted she share top billing. He knew they would all look foolish without recognizing her talent and impending stardom. Good call, Mr. Peck!  I just love her line "I don't seem to mind."  If you haven't already, please watch the whole movie sometime soon.  It's perfect.

Speaking of classics, is anyone else out there looking forward to Baz Luhrmann's "The Great Gatsby" this winter?  I got pretty excited when Michael showed me this trailer.  Luhrmann's films are so pretty...  And I've always enjoyed this story.  Oh, and I've a little crush on Carey Mulligan ever since I saw her in "An Education".  So yeah, this will be one to see on a big screen.  Possibly with funny glasses on our faces.
