Carol and Carl's New York City Engagement Session (part 1)
Within minutes of arriving in the city we wondered into this little cafe, and I fell in love. Love love love everything about it. I was giddy when Carol and Carl (and Michael) were up for stopping by during our shoot. (Epistrophy Cafe)
We were so close to Little Italy, we had to pay homage to Carl's heritage with a stroll through.

I'm in love with the work of Dana Tanamachi. She makes the most beautiful graphic chalk art, with the loveliest fonts. (Anyone else out there obsessed with pretty fonts?) If I were to plan a wedding with an endless budget, I would hire her to hand create much of the stationery and decor pieces. I want to create a statement piece inspired by her work in our home... but I fear it will prove to be much more difficult than she makes it appear! Melissa and Alex had such a sweet rainy day celebration at Casa Ybel. As it so often happens here in Southwest Florida, later in the day, the skies cleared to reveal the most stunning colors in nature. We were so happy they got a bit of the dreamy beach wedding day they had envisioned!
There was a steady drizzle through the ceremony. It was actually quite romantic.
